Description: Province-supported, university, coed. Awards bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and first professional degrees. Founded 1964. Setting: 817-acre urban campus with easy access to Toronto. An hour's drive west of Toronto, Guelph is easily accessible by bus or train. It is the home of the Guelph Spring Festival (May-June), the Guelph Jazz Festival (September), and the Hillside Folk Festival (July), as well as the site of the Guelph Center for the Performing Arts.
