Dianda, Hilda, Argentine composer; b. Cordoba, April 13, 1925. She studied in Europe with Scherchen and Malipiero, and from 1958 to 1962 she worked at Radiodiffusion Franchise in Paris. Upon returning to Argentina, she devoted herself to composition and organization of concerts of ultramodern music.

3 string quartets (1947, 1960, 1962); Concertante for Cello and Chamber Orch. (1952); Trio for Flute, Oboe, and Bassoon (1953); Wind Quintet (1957); Diptico for 16 Instruments (1962); Nucleos for String Orch., 2 Pianos, and Percussion (1964); works for various ensembles under the generic titles Resonancias and Ludus (1964–69).
