Indostomidae (subclass Actinopterygii, order Indostomiformes) A mono-specific family (Indostomus paradoxus) of very small (3 cm) freshwater fish that have a slender body, large eyes, and pointed snout. This fish, found in Burma, has been placed in an order (Indostomiformes) of its own.
