Reinhardt Kristensen
Danish zoologist whose research is focused on the phylogeny and systematics, or relationships, of controversial groups of microscopic animals called the tardigrades (water bears), lociferans, and cyliophorans. His groundbreaking work on these little-understood groups continues with numerous investigations from around the world. Kristensen is Professor and Curator of the Invertebrate Department of the Zoology Museum of the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
