English Extremists
English Extremists. Title of 1988 book dealing with the work of the British architects Nick Campbell (1947– ), Roger Zogolovitch (1947– ), Rex Wilkinson (1947– ), and Piers Gough (1946– ) (CZWG), who formed a practice in 1977. Their ‘extremism’ derives from their extravagant eclecticism and startling, jarring geometries. Their work includes ‘Cascades’, a tower-block in London's Docklands (1988).
