Composer and musician. Toured with musician Gary Wright, c. 1975, then Boz Scaggs; Toto (a rock band), keyboardist and synthesizer player, 1978–88; also performed with other music groups and worked as a session player.
Awards, Honors:
(All with Toto) Grammy Awards, record of the year, best pop vocal performance, and best instrumental arrangement with vocal, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, 1982, for "Rosanna"; Grammy Awards, album of the year and best producer, 1982, for Toto IV.
