WOLF, ABNER
WOLF, ABNER (1902–?), U.S. neuropathologist. Born and educated in New York City, Wolf was appointed professor of neuropathology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons from 1951 and at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center from 1964. Wolf served as president of the American Association of Neuropathologists (1951–52) and the New York Neurological Society (1956–57). He was a member of numerous professional societies and published extensively. He was editor in chief of the Journal of Neuropathology and Experimental Neurology from 1963.
