Calopterygidae
Calopterygidae (formerly Agriidae; damselflies; order Odonata, suborder Zygoptera) A widely distributed family of damselflies which have complex courtships. They have indistinguishable primaries among their many antenodal wing veins. Many species have metallic-coloured bodies, and heavily tinted wings. The larvae are usually found in streams, and are slender. More than 180 extant species have been described.
